Artist in RESIDENCE

UNTAMED & In Bloom

A body of work rooted in wildness, resilience and unpolished beauty.

An artist's workspace with two floral paintings, paint supplies, and a wooden easel on a white tarpaulin background.
February  1st - March 15th

An Artist Residency is a season, set apart, where daily life softens so creative work can rise to the surface.

In my home studio, I’m shaping my own version, grounded in presence, exploration, and intentional practice. This self-directed residency is both sanctuary and catalyst: a place to listen closely, explore deeply, and let my artwork unfold in it’s own rhythm.

I would love if you joined me on this journey!

Untamed & In Bloom

Residency Tiers

The Untamed and In Bloom Residency is designed as a layered experience. Each tier builds naturally upon the one before it, offering a deeper level of access, connection, and art collecting. You’re welcome to join at whatever point feels aligned; whether that’s quietly observing the process, collecting a finished piece, or becoming closely involved in the making and meaning of the work itself. There’s no “right” level, only different ways of participating.

Answers to Your Questions

What is an Artist Residency?

Traditionally, an artist residency provides time, space, and resources for artists to focus deeply on their work, often including housing, a stipend, and access to an engaged audience. These opportunities, however, are often inaccessible to artists with caregiving responsibilities.

As a single mother, participating in a traditional residency isn’t realistic for me. This self-led residency is part of a growing movement among mother artists to create meaningful, supported creative work within the realities of everyday life.

What is a Patron of the Arts?

A patron of the arts is someone who supports creative work, helping artists bring new ideas and projects into the world. Historically and today, many artists have relied on patrons to ease the financial burden of making art.

For this residency, I’ve chosen to make the entry point complimentary so anyone who feels drawn to the work can take part and follow along behind the scenes.

How can I support this project?

If you’d like to witness this body of work as it unfolds, you’re invited to join as a patron. Contributions help cover materials like paint, brushes, and canvas, and in return you’ll receive behind-the-scenes access and, depending on the tier, keepsakes or artwork created during the residency.

If you feel drawn to the rhythms of nature, to handmade work, and to art that values process as much as outcome, I would love to have you alongside me during this residency. Your support makes this work possible, and your presence becomes part of the story these paintings carry forward.

If you have additional questions about the residency, I’d be happy to answer!
